With the new tactics this topic needs a little revising:

Alliance raids:

2 tactic slots: Asymmetric Warfare is a must, the next one should be a tactic with high proc and low damage:
                      Free tactics: Killing Field is the best, SF is the worst
                      GS tactics: WYGD is good but it may cause overhit (handle with care), Terror, Thousand Cuts

3 tactic slots: EdC + SF + FA

4 tactic slots: EdC + SF + FA + Prep = EdC chain or combo

5 tactic slots: EdC chain + BW on Lurking Horror, Shadows of the Void;
                      EdC chain + (WU or WYGD) on Ship of the Damned, Mecha-Wyrm, Celebration Enhancer J-54
                      EdC + SF + FA + Secret Weapon + WU (or EdC chain + SW) on Genesis (huge damage bonus for leader boards)

AW only works on raids with 1 or 2 tactic slots
BW doesn't work on mechanized raids
Secret Weapon is for Genesis only
We have a few low level players but for the most of us PoE is useless (it doesn't proc above LSI 6.5), do NOT use it!
Space Raiders still the worst tactic, do NOT use it!

BtR should be applied to raids at 10% of health or below!

Furthermore: if you don't want to hit a raid you can still put up the required tactics (but not any craptics), it helps out the others.
It is mandatory for wannabe soldiers, and a request from soldiers...
